Depression
Depression is a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think and how you act. Depression causes feelings of sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed. Fortunately, it is treatable.

Anxiety
Everyone experiences some amount of anxiety at times in their life. Anxiety is actually a normal reaction to stress, and sometimes it helps us deal with tense or overwhelming situations. You can challenge anxiety and build coping skills to manage it.

Trauma and PTSD
Trauma is a response to when we experience very stressful, frightening, or extremely distressful events that are difficult to cope with or are out of control. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy has been used with teens and adults with a wide variety of emotional and psychological issues, specifically targeting trauma & PTSD symptoms.
WHAT IS DBT THERAPY?
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a type of talking therapy. It's based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), but it's specially adapted for people who feel emotions very intensely.
The aim of DBT is to help you
Understand and accept your difficult feelings, learn skills to manage them, and become able to make positive changes in your life. ‘Dialectical’ means trying to understand how two things that seem opposite could both be true. For example, accepting yourself and changing your behavior might feel contradictory. But DBT teaches that it's possible for you to achieve both these goals together.
